Sierra Vista

Sierra Vista is the perfect ‘home base’ for exploring southern Arizona. You’ll know you’ve discovered a treasure the minute you see our majestic mountains, beautiful river, and endless blue skies.

You’ll find old west and military history as well as archaeological remnants of the Clovis people, North America’s earliest inhabitants, who lived in the San Pedro Valley approximately 9,000 BC. Also rich in Native American history, Coronado’s expedition searched the area in a quest for riches.

Sierra Vista is internationally known for its bird watching and nature based activities. You can hike in the nearby Huachuca Mountains, visit the Nature Conservancy’s Ramsey Canyon Preserve, or take a leisurely walk along the San Pedro River.
