Harrison
Harrison, nestled at the mouth of the Coeur d’Alene River at the southern end of Lake Coeur d’Alene, offers a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains. Visitors may arrive by boat or car. There is a 72 mile full-service trailhead from Mullan to Plummer. County docks are open. There is an RV park with hook-ups right at the waterfront.
At one time, a rough-and-tumble logging town, Harrison still sports remnants of its colorful past. Historic buildings, its weathered saloon, and even the city’s graveyard, all stand testament to the hardy souls who built the one-time boom town. |
