Grand Forks

Grand Forks has four distinct seasons so recreation activities are abundant no matter when you visit. For winter enthusiasts there are three trailheads for cross-country skiing, snowmobile trails or go to one of the numerous skating rinks, four of which are indoor facilities. The First Season Community Center even has an indoor playground, foosball and a TV lounge.

The Frosty Bobber Winter Carnival held in Grand Forks the last weekend in January is a must see. There will be a fishing derby, poker run, Kitty Cat snowmobile races, cross-country skiing race and a cardboard-sled-building contest.
