Platte

Platte is located on Highways 44 and 45, minutes from the magnificent Missouri River, Lake Francis Case and three unique state parks offering fishing, boating, hiking, camping, swimming and much more! Walleye fishing is at its best just 14 miles west of Platte on the Missouri River. Other sport fish include Northern Pike, Catfish, Smallmouth Bass, White Bass and many others. Platte offers some of the nation’s best Ringneck pheasant hunting plus plentiful waterfowl and big game hunting.

A panoramic nine-hole golf course is located 2 miles west of Platte, situated on Platte Lake.
Platte’s Main Street is thriving with diverse businesses and unique shopping opportunities and there is no need to venture elsewhere. The Lyric Theatre has been restored to its complete glory, with movies, entertainers, plays and dinner theatre as venue. The Yellow Rose Arena hosts many rodeos, as well as other cattle and horse related events.
