Ione

If you follow Hwy. 20, North to Tiger and continue North on Hwy. 31, you will come to the town of Ione. Once a booming town of loggers and miners, Ione is now a quiet little town, located along the banks of the Pend Oreille River. But don’t let it fool you. There is plenty to do there. If you love the outdoors, you’ll find year-round activities such as: hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling, snowmobiling, boating, cross-country skiing, hiking, bird-watching, camping and sightseeing.
